Resources

Keep the links, folders, apps and TeamHUD actions you use every day one click from the overlay. This page shows how to add a link, pin one from chat, and change the list.

Before you start: the Resources hub is on the overlay. In the layout it is listed as App Launcher.

The Resources hub opened into a vertical stack of four rounded launcher squares: a link, a folder, and two more links, each with its own accent color.
The Resources hub open: each square is a link or folder, one click away.
  1. Enter edit mode. Right-click the hub and choose ✎ Edit resources. A badge reads “Edit mode · Esc to exit”.
  2. Choose Add resource. Use the + at the end of the row.
  3. Pick Link. Enter a Label and an address like https://example.com.
  4. Add a hotkey (optional). Choose the hotkey button, press the keys (“Press keys…”), or Clear.
  5. Choose Save.

What you’ll see: the new item in the row. Leave edit mode with Esc or Done editing, then click the item to open the link.

  1. Find the link. In team chat or a DM, find a message that contains a web link.
  2. Right-click the message. Choose Pin to Resources. A message with several links offers one entry per link: Pin … to Resources.
  3. Check the toast. It says Pinned to Resources, or Already in Resources if that address was there. A failure says Could not pin to Resources.

Only links are pinned, not the message text.

In the same dialog, the other tabs are:

  • Folder groups other items; it opens as a drawer. Set Drawer Direction (Default (auto), Horizontal or Vertical) from the right-click menu.
  • App focuses an app if it is running, or launches it. Type a name or path, or use Choose App…. Apps are saved on this computer only.
  • Action runs a TeamHUD action (Choose an action…).

To change or remove an item, enter edit mode and use its edit button: Save or Delete. Delete asks again; Keep cancels.

On first run you get a few starter folders of common links. They are normal items you can edit or delete.

Resources are personal. Each signed-in account on this computer has its own list; a new account starts from a copy of the shared starter list. There is no shared team list in the app yet, so a link you pin is not seen by teammates.

Say “open the roadmap” or “open the resource called roadmap” with Voice assistant.

  • No “Add” button. You are not in edit mode. Right-click the hub, choose ✎ Edit resources.
  • A hotkey is refused. Another item or app already uses it. Pick different keys.
  • “Resources is unavailable” when pinning. The Resources hub is switched off. Turn it on in the layout.
